At Hazelwell we have a strong focus on continued staff training and development. Our staff are trained to the National Standards upon joining the company and all workers complete a comprehensive induction programme which includes manual handling, infection control, first aid, Protection of vulnerable adults, fire safety and medication training. In addition, we have developed our own in-house training courses based upon the unique working style of Hazelwell Lodge. We regard ourselves as a teaching home and encourage our staff to thrive and develop within their roles. We provide all mandatory training, The care certificate, as well as diploma’s 2-5 in Health & Social Care and leadership and management.
